You don't ever want a player to be pulled out of the action so get them back in 30 seconds or less. Roll 1d4 for hit points, giving them a name, AC: 10, and a weapon that does 1d4 damage and they're back, baby!
Do you NEED an Emergency Character Record Sheet to do that? Absolutely not. But this is even quicker than a blank post it at the table.
