Learn MoreThe Pervasive Corruption pamphlet contains rules for including Insidious Luck, Famine, Taint, and Scarcity into your DCC games.
About Pervasive Corruption:
Insidious Luck is a variant mechanic where the PCs can draw from a pool to increase their die rolls, but it is a devil's bargain where the judge can then increase their own rolls for monsters or NPCs, or increase the threats assailing the PCs as the world around them deteriorates reflected on an escalating chart.
The Famine, Taint, and Scarcity rules heighten the sense of your game having a more grimdark, survival-horror setting making food harder to come by, more likely to rot in your backpack or belt pouch, and less common to come across.
This a pamphlet-sized, DCC RPG compatible ruleset was designed for the Stennard setting. It can be used with any setting you want to make darker, or it can be used in conjunction with other Stennard products like The Stennard Courier Vol. 1, Wide-eyed Terror, Cleft in the Mangled Hills, and Desperation of the Hungry.
